General job descripton

The HR Business Partner - Talent & Development is supporting the HR team. He/she acts as a partner and first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, managers and external partners. He/she support in all kind of HR projects and topics, bus has a main focus on Talent & Development (recruitment, training, career track, well-being, …). We encourage to share ideas and bring them alive in new HR projects. He/she makes a positive and constructive contribution to the atmosphere, service, quality and further professionalization of the HR team and the company.

The position will be located in Niel and reports into the HR Director.

Responsibilities & duties

The HR Business Partner 's duties shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Be the first point of contact for HR-related matters, both for colleagues and external partners

  • Coordinate the recruitment process (e.g. manage career tool, schedule interviews, provide feedback to candidates)

  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process of newcomers and leavers

  • Initiate, monitor and update retention and training plans for employees

  • Support our line managers with regard to talent acquisition, workforce management, performance management, development, well-being,...

  • Assist in organizing individual and group training sessions and maintain training records;

  • Update, improve and initiate company HR-related policies

  • Provide administrative support to the payroll process (back-up)

Job requirements

Education

Bachelor or Master in HR and/or economical sciences

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within HR with a good understanding of the general HR-basics.

Other qualifications, skills and abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Autonomous, eager to learn, quick learning and have eye for detail;

  • Discreet and capable of handling confidential/sensitive information;

  • Ability to solve problems and execute on initiatives;

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation;

  • Well organized, well-structured, hands-on, result focused;

  • Ability to foster teamwork and a collaborative atmosphere;

  • Enthusiastic, flexible and able to multitask;

  • Ability to set priorities and take initiative and be pro-active;

  • Fluent in Dutch and English;

  • Excellent understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
